We’re creating a platform called the Video Activists Academy to help get good Democrats elected through video storytelling. We need demo content; that’s the purpose of this page and where you come in.
Personal endorsements and stories from regular folks like you and me can influence our friends, families, and neighbors to get off the couch and vote. Here’s your opportunity to sing the praises of the pro-Democracy political candidate(s) you want to see elected, to tell your personal story, and make a tangible difference in the upcoming elections!
Here’s how it works:
Try to keep your video to a couple of minutes. You can use your computer or phone. Just position yourself with the top of your heard near the top of the frame, look straight at the camera lens and:
- Say your first name and where you live.
- Review the talking points on this page if you like and …
- Tell us why you support your candidate, or how right wing extremist policies have or will affect you personally, or why voting in the 2024 election is so critical.
A few tips:
- Your story is better when it’s not too scripted. Just look at the camera lens and hit the red button!
- Don’t worry if you mess up; you can start over if you like.
- We may edit your video for clarity or trim it to a shorter length, but we’ll keep your story intact.
