Welcome to the Online Video Mastery™ Partners Program!
The essence of our Partners Program is simple:
I support you so you can earn commissions as you sell our online courses. 🙂
We are starting with Video Creation Mastery. our training that teaches people in organizations how to make great videos with their smartphone. Another course on editing and posting videos will follow.
To support your marketing efforts, I’ll furnish graphics, or join you on your podcast or live show, interview you on my show, make a short custom video for you, create draft copy … let’s figure out what’s best for you!
Here’s how your commissions work for Video Creation Mastery:
(This is my initial concept – subject to tweaking.)
How the Partner process works:
-
I’ll enroll you in the course so you can make sure you want to be a part of the program. If the content meets your approval, we’ll go to the next step
-
You promote the course(s) with a healthy $100 discount to your tribe using a unique discount code and affiliate link. See note about tactics below.
-
I pay your commissions monthly
-
Rinse and repeat
Here are the nuts and bolts:
Let’s say you have a total of 2,000 social media fans, followers, and people on your email list. If your promotional campaign converts at 2% (40 people), those sales will bring you a $2,400 payout.
Here are some other scenarios:
| Number of Followers | Conversion Rate | Total Sales | Your Payout |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | 2% | 20 | $1,200 |
| 3,000 | 2% | 60 | $3,600 |
| 5,000 | 2% | 100 | $6,000 |
| 10,000 | 2% | 200 | $12,000 |
Graphic assets for your social media, blog or ads:
Click to enlarge, then download the image(s) you’d like to use. I’ve included two concepts each in horizontal format for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn (may work for your blog, too); square for several platforms, and vertical for Pinterest and other platforms.
Copy suggestions:
Copy/paste or use these ideas to riff out your own ideas.
Take look at the copy we wrote for our landing page and feel free to use any of that, especially the problems, transformation, what kinds of videos your prospects can create, and what they get.

- List things you’ve learned by taking the course yourself:
- “I had no idea how important audio is … it’s actually way more important than video quality!”
- “Some great ways to keep your viewers engaged include mixing up the types of shots (establishing, closeups), and using “B-roll.”
- “Here are some of the no-nos I’ve learned: never backlight your subject, keep the camera at or just above your subject’s eye level, and make sure you or subject are looking at the phone camera lens to establish a direct connection to the viewer.”
Main one:
- Chuck Moran and his team are professional, great trainers! They take the time to understand your audience and need. They invested the time and energy to ensure we got the most value added. Our 47 district staff and directors appreciated the video creation and mastery training provided over the course of a month. After each session, they worked with us to debrief, realign and ensure soil and water conservation district needs were met. They’ll help you with foundation to advanced needs helping you move across the spectrum of skills. ~Kendall Elaine Tyree, Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts Executive Director
Attendee comments from our Video Creation live workshop:
- The [workshop] really helped us get a better vocabulary around video creation. We were just shooting scenes based off what we had the availability to do but this helped us stretch to think about what we could do more effectively with our time. ~MK
- The workshop was very clear and well organized. I loved the [recorded] examples they used for different audio recording devices. Great how-to for beginners! ~MA
- Workshop presenters know what they are talking about! ~PF
Super important!
- Your clients and customers need to use your own personal discount code (looks like baldguy100off) to get the $100 discount at checkout.
- You need to use your referral link to get credit for your sales. You referral link looks like this: https://learn.onlinevideomastery.com/courses/video-creation-mastery?ref=123456. That bit at the end is unique to you.
- I suggest that you link your referral link to the graphic that you’re using and link it to calls to action such as “Register Now.” Use a link shortener to make the link less cumbersome if you’re using it alone in text.
- Contact me if you need your code or referral link.
- Last, at least in the US, you are required by the FTC to disclose that you are an affiliate. You can use a simple line like. “This post contains affiliate links. If you use these links to buy the course I’m endorsing here, I may earn a commission. Thanks.” You can write anything that make the point, and it must be conspicuous.
Next steps: dive right in on your own, or let’s chat and brainstorm how to set up a marketing campaign that’ll work specifically for your needs. Grab a time below, and I’ll see you on Zoom! Or just drop me an email at the address below to let me know what you need and we’ll get started.
Tactics: In closing, I fully support using whatever tactics feel right to you. Partners have included a link on a resources page, while others are sending out traditional letters in emails, interviewing me on their shows, or are planning active social media campaigns.
